Spring break fun

Looking for some one-of-a-kind spring break family fun? We recommend Bubblefest at the Discovery Cube Orange County. We had the pleasure of attending our second Bubblefest this year and we loved it once again! As my 4-year-old put it, “Bubblefest is my favorite show ever.”

One half of Bubblefest is the museum exhibit, which teaches kids (and adults) the surprising science behind bubbles with various stations for them to experiment. Do bubbles float in carbon dioxide? Budding bubblologists can find answers to these questions and more. Your kids will also enjoy playing with bubbles, creating bubble art, running on water in the bubble spheres, jumping in the inflatable play areas, and taking a picture inside a real bubble (bubble photos requires an additional fee).

The second part of Bubblefest is the unique and creative bubble and laser show. Deni Yang, Guinness Book World Record holder of the world’s biggest bubble, puts on a live stage show filled with a gazillion bubbles and lasers. For the first time ever, Deni’s sister joins the show for added bubble fun. Deni is very talented and he does things we’ve never imagined with bubbles of all sizes and even makes dry ice bubbles. My son loved the “bubble storm,” where the entire theater is filled with a gazillion bubbles.
Bubblefest ends on April 8th and we highly recommend it. For more information and to purchase tickets click here.
