Summer Reading Program

"Superhero Training Academy: Find Your Reading Superpower!"

The 44th Summer Reading Program theme is "Superhero Training Academy: Find Your Reading Superpower!"
The program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Cerritos Library. The Friends will provide book prizes
and other incentives to encourage everyone to enjoy reading during the summer.

Walk-in Registration: Monday, June 18 through Sunday, June 24 in the Children's Library
Grand Prize Weeks: Monday, July 16 through Saturday, July 28

Cerritos Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. 


Children’s Summer Reading Program
For Ages Newborn Through 11

To be eligible for book prizes and other incentives children must read at least 30 minutes a day.

Young Adult Summer Reading Program
For Ages 12 Through 17

Adult Reading Program
For Ages 18 and Older

To be eligible for book prizes and other incentives, adult and young adult readers must complete four books, either fiction or non-fiction, in any language.

Please bring your valid Cerritos Library card when registering for the Summer Reading Program.
