REVIEW: This was our first time at the Discovery Cube OC, as a family. We were really excited to see the Super Hero Exhibit and what it had to offer. With the recent movies the kids had a chance to experience what is like to be a super hero. As we walked into the exhibit my kids were instantly amazed, as was I. We were greeted with life size cutouts of Batman, Superman and Wonder Women. They offer superhero capes to use while in the exhibit, just in case you forget yours. From being "granted permission" to enter, to all the activities offered, there was plenty of things for the kids to enjoy.

There are several interactive activities to engage each kid and adult. You will get thrown into the life of a super hero from Gotham to the ocean. Some of the interactive activities included fighting crime along side Wonder Woman and collecting stolen items while defending the city with her Lasso, riding the waves like Aqua-man, collecting clues and sending out the Bat Signal, and one of my son's favorite, racing with The Flash and showing off his speed.

They also have life-size figures of each superhero in the Justice League. Perfect for photo-ops.

One exciting section for me, as a parent, was watching the kids stand in front of a green screen and destroy comets to save the planet (one of three options). They offer an option to have the video sent to an email for future views and see what it looks like once the background is added. We enjoyed sharing the video with family once we were home.

This is a cool and unique experience. We highly recommend taking the family to experience this exhibit. We had such a great time. The Museum offers other great activities for every interest. Like us, you may end up losing track of time and spend all day there.

The museum also has a small restaurant with delicious and healthy food options so no need to leave the theater for lunch time.

Discovery Cube is just short drive away and is easily accessible just off the 5 Fwy. There is plenty of parking.

General Admission:

Batman’s 80th Anniversary: July 6- 7

We’re celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the DC Super Hero: Batman by learning about bat science at Discovery Cube Orange County. Wear your batty-best and discover how the nocturnal winged mammals are environmental heroes. You’ve heard the myths about bats but we’re sharing the facts.
