Happy July 4th! Some independence Day celebrations start early in our neighborhood. Check out the list below for local ways to celebrate the 4th of July and enjoy spectacular fireworks. PLEASE STAY SAFE!!



Cypress/Los Alamitos

Independence Day Celebration

Cost: Free admission

When: July 4th, 4pm to 10:00pm

Where: Joint Forces Training Base


CERRITOS:

JULY 4: July 4th Carnival, Concert & Fireworks. "Let Freedom Ring" celebration has formal bell-ringing, rides, food trucks & entertainment.

  • Cerritos Civic Center, 18125 Bloomfield Ave. Cerritos CA
  • 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
  • Pre-sale, discount ride wristbands available for $20 through Friday, June 29 at 4 p.m.


Hawaiian Gardens

Independence Day Celebration

Cost: Free admission

When: July 1st, 6:00pm to 10:00pm

Enjoy entertainment, food and beverages available for purchase and activities for all ages. The celebration will conclude with a firework show at dusk. 

Where: Fedde Middle School 


Norwalk

Independence Day Pageant

Cost: Free admission

When: July 3rd

Music, games, and food booths open at 6pm, followed by our fireworks display that begins promptly at 9pm.  

Where: Civic Center Lawn, 12700 Norwalk Blvd


Long Beach:

Harbor Breeze Fireworks Cruises

Cost: Tickets start at $35, free for kids 3 and under

When: July 4th

Where: Dock #2, 100 Aquarium Way


La Palma

La Palma Fitness Run for Fun

Cost: Yankee Doodle Dash for participants’ ages 2 to 12 years old- $10; 5K and 10K - $32

When: July 4th, Starts at 7:30 am 

Where: near La Palma’s Central Park


Long Beach - The Aquarium of The Pacific 

July 4th Late Night & BBQ

Cost: $14.95 for everyone after 5:00 p.m. (BBQ extra)

When: July 4th, 5pm-10pm

Long Beach - Queen Mary

All American 4th of July

Cost: Tickets start at $44 for adults, $24 for ages 4-11, children 3 and under free

When: July 4th, 2pm-10pm

Where: Aboard the Queen Mary


Huntington Beach

United We Stand 4th of July

Cost: Street viewing of parade and fireworks is free, admission to the pier is not free

When: July 4th, Parade at 10 am, Fireworks at 9 pm on Huntington Beach Pier

Newport Beach

Old Glory Boat Parade

Cost: Free (parade viewing only)

When: July 4th, Parade starts at 1 p.m.

Where: Starts off Collins Island and proceeds through-out Newport Harbor.


 Marina Del Rey

July 4th at the Marina

Cost: Free

When: July 4th, 9 p.m. fireworks show

Where: Burton Chace Park (13650 Mindanao Way) or Fisherman’s Village (13755 Fiji Way)


Hollywood Bowl:

July 4th Fireworks Spectacular w/ The Go Gos

JULY 4: July 4th Parade, Run, Fest & Fireworks. Your day is planned with tricycle races, corn hole, Rock Paper Scissors and more!

JULY 3: Independence Celebration - Music & Fireworks . Live music with The Country Club and Soul Kitchen.

REDONDO BEACH:

JULY 4: 4th Of Firecracker Celebration . Scenic run along the Pacific Ocean

SAN PEDRO:

JULY 4: July 4th Spectacular 2018: Cabrillo Beach. Music, family fun, food trucks & fireworks!
